I Was trying to locate my Mother and her mothers details from 1943 and 1924 in Coleraine, lots of searches online came to nothing , found Family Ulster via a Genealogy site and contacted Brian who located both and had their Birth certificates to me within 7 days of contacting him, fantastic services and will use again for next steps tracing my Irish roots
For my father's 70th birthday, we traveled to Northern Ireland and I contacted Family Ulster to develop a one day itinerary to explore the history of our ancestors. Brian went above and beyond and created the most amazing one of a kind experience for us. He picked us up at our hotel in Belfast and drove us to various locations around the countryside. Based on Brian's research (supplemented by what information we had), he found old churches, homes, gravesites and even our ancestor's family farm. Best of all...he surprised my father with a visit to a long lost relative's home for tea! Brian is an expert and even teaches genealogy at the local university. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience with an expert, FamilyUlster is the best!
'I contacted Family Ulster in mid October 2011 asking if they would conduct
a basic search for a family member who lived and worked in Belfast in the
late 1950's. I had limited information to offer and had little hope of
success. However with this meagre meal, Family Ulster not only identified our
relative, they fast forwarded to current family living in the City and
managed to put us in touch with a whole new branch of our family! I am delighted
with the service that Family Ulster offer and can say honestly that it is
the best value for my money i've had for a long time.

Thank you so much for your help. I've been looking forward to this trip for the past few months but you've helped to ensure that I will have memories that last a life time. Not to mention helping re-establish a family connection that would otherwise have been lost - and that, to me, is beyond priceless.

I contacted Family Ulster earlier this year. We were planning a trip to No Ireland and we wanted to find some connections to my mother's family in the Ballymena area.. And we hoped to find a live person who is a relative. Brian, even after noone with my family name was listed in the tel books, or other listings, etc, he persevered, and talked with people in the area, and found out about someone with our family name. We went to the home together and this person was the grandson of my great grandfather's brother. He even lives in my great grandfather's house. It was wonderful, he brought out some of the same pics that we had.
We now have a family connection to continue to be in contact with.
Brian also talked with the Reverend at the local church where my family attended, and arranged for us to meet with him and go through church records.
We sometimes worry about the value you get from genealogists, but with Family Ulster we received great value.
Brian worked hard on this and did wonderful things for us.
Thanks Family Ulster!
